That was then but this is now
One might think that having your service offering cleared out when you start your business is the most important thing for a start-up. And it is. Except that it’s not always as straightforward as it seems. Markets change, your business model changes, and you change. All the time.
That’s why finding ways to constantly reflect on your business and package it is paramount. Hence the reference to business modeling as an alternative to a business plan (see day 3, the reference to Osterwalder & Pigneur).
In the past two years, markets have changed radically -to say the least- with as an implausible combination of economic-technological-social conditions as it was real. Recession hit, communication technologies went mainstream with the emergence of social software and people got sick of listening to good old advertising.
In the past two years, Bluesponge changed as well. We had covered most of the creation-innovation-production value chain and felt it was time to move on to new things, to change the perspective on what we do and enjoy life.
Here’s the story. Illustrated with some of our archives.

Wow I’m so glad you are opening your archives to the world! And using your blog to archive your drawings and thoughts. Well done
If you don’t publish a book with all of this you mean nothing to me.
Wow these archives are really priceless. Like I said before, you should really write a book. I think through Bluesponge’s 10 years of history people could also a get a feel of how much the Web and Digital Media have evolved in such a short period of time.
Memories…memories…
