From Guerilla to organized warfare
The campaign had started with an overall timeline of 28 daily deliverables leading up to the site redesign. A clearer vision has now emerged, with a focus to each of the 2 remaining weeks and what comes next.
Initial plan
After setting up the initial framework for rebuilding Bluesponge’s online presence, most of the sections of the site are now prototyped and the overall content architecture almost done. Only the ‘Lab’ and the ‘collaborators’ sections are now missing as well as a couple of pages including ‘all projects’ and most importantly, the home page.
In the coming two weeks, we will mainly be focussing on the two remaining aspects that will give shape and flavor to the site: design and content.
We will be working with FEED this week to complete the graphic design of the new site. They have been briefed on the site main functionalities based on the current prototype and we’ve discussed the design brief (posted on Day 6 and Day 7). Can’t wait to see what they will come up with. We will then move on to integration with PATPICH the following week.
The main remaining task is for us to organise and complete the whole content in the coming 2 weeks. It’s a monumental endeavor considering the amount of projects in the Bluesponge portfolio to be included in the site. We will be searching extensively through our archives to dig for the best content to share. And then rewriting most of the project presentations.
We have a few more ideas that will add some flavor in the couple of remaining weeks, making this whole process a little less geeky for the rest of you.

I adressed the important issue of content in today’s post (Feb 19). Thx Kevin.
Just an idea, be really really selective with the projects. There’s so much that you guys have done over the years and the project selection will be as much a reflection of your “brand positioning” as everything else.
